Behind the bar at The Moon & Sixpence, you'll find a fantastic range of cask ales from The Wells and Young's Brewing Company, Bedford, all kept to perfection, We also carry chilled lagers and ciders:

Bombardier Bitter (ABV 4.3%)

As most lovers of cask ale know, water is the most important ingredient in beer, and Wells Bombardier has an enviable natural advantage over other premium bitters; it is uniquely brewed using natural mineral water from an independently accredited source - our own well.

Waggle Dance

Amber beer with a touch of honey on the nose and palate. The sweetness is balanced by a healthy dose of hops to provide the bitterness that gives a wonderfully delicate flavour

Young's Bitter (ABV 3.7%)

IPA long-standing favourite within Charles Wells' heartland and famed for it's rare, notably dry-bitter finish, Wells Eagle IPA (Alc. 3.6% Vol.) is starting to emulate the nationwide success of its premium bitter stable-mate, Wells Bombardier.
